If you need a site to stay The Henniker Motel is a perfect choice, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Wapack Trail. This site is unbeatable, just explore all the exciting things to do in close proximity to Shattuck Pond. Campers Beach is near Shattuck Pond if you're in a beach type of mood, and the snow is tremendous at Crotched Mountain. So many fun things to do at Shattuck Pond,                  so little time. From Shattuck Pond you acquire a magnificent vista of Campbell Hill, and nearby you locate the Old Country Road which is a good hiking trail. Do stop at Pleasant Pond close to Shattuck Pond, it's a beautiful lake; a round of golf at nearby Oak Brook Golf Course is a perfect way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Shattuck Pond you'll probably meet some people from Manchester-Nashua, and you can hit the beach if you want, Picnickers Beach is practically right here. Not far from Shattuck Pond you get some wonderful water scenery at Pleasant Pond Dam, and going for a hike on the Mitchell Hill Road is always a good adventure. Shattuck Pond gets a typical amount of rain; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January.
