Why not stop by Shadow Pool if you're passing through these parts. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. The annual rain here at Shadow Pool is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Any time is a great time at Shadow Pool if you go for the outdoors.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Shadow Pool; Rattle River Trail is a magnificent local

| | trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Androscoggin River Reservoir. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the White Mountains has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Royalty Inn, and Wild River Campground is a great campground here. Stay the night at White Birches Mtn Camping Park, and a great view of delightful Mount Evans is available.

Sinclair Trail; paddling on Peabody River is so much fun. This site is unbeatable, just explore all the entertaining things to do next to Shadow Pool. Town & Country Motor Inn is a good spot to get some rest; there's a fine forest
called Leadmine State Forest. Throughout the summer at Shadow Pool temperatures are generally in the 70's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 20's with winter lows
in the 0's overnight here at Shadow Pool.
This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Wild River, and obviously Josh Brook flows through this vicinity. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The White
Mountains is excellent! Shelburne Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and the slopes of Black Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. Everybody close by loves skiing at Wildcat, and Shadow Pool is right by the Peabody Brook Trail.
