many fun things in one place! The White Mountains rules! Dry warm beds await you at A Top Notch Inn, and the Speck Pond Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. There's whitewater on Androscoggin River for all you adrenaline rush
seekers, and if you need a location to stay Royalty Inn is a splendid choice. There are other places here than Sessions Pond, for example Moose Pond, and you can hit the slopes at Balsams Wilderness around here. This lake is so
wonderful. Mollidgewock Campground is a delightful campground nearby, and there's a forest here called Thirteen Mile Woods. All through the long summer days highs here at Sessions Pond reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down
to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Sessions Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. All the water falling down from the sky makes Sessions Pond a wet place; during the month
of August you get the most rain around here while February is regularly the driest month. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful.

 | I spent most of my summers growing up at cedar pond.We had our camp there and I remember the penny candy at the red and white striped store and the dog inky. There was also a dog named cedar that would visit all the camps in search of food. The lake would be freezing even in August and when we had to start a fire in the furnace the only wood we had to burn was obviously cedar and the smell was wonderful. And though the ''camp'' my Pepere had is no longer there, the wonderful memories are.... |
