    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Scott Pond. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Scott Pond. A beautiful lake like Stone Pond right next door to Scott Pond is a delightful location to take a look at, and if you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Shattuck Golf Course. Scott Pond is a good place of common rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and February on the other hand is the driest. Scott Pond  
   is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Laurel Lake Campgrounds is a pleasant local campground, and nearby you locate the Red Cross Trail which is a splendid hiking trail.
Now, you may think that's loads but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Scott Pond. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Pine Ridge. Through the days of summer here at Scott Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold
 
               days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Scott Pond sink into the 0's. Potters Pond is a fine lake close to Scott Pond; if you need a place to stay Best Western Sovereign Hotel is a great choice.
Dry warm beds await you at E.F. Lane Hotel, and if the weather is wonderful, you obtain a good sight of Cubleigh Hill from Scott Pond. This is a popular spot for people from Keene; going for a hike on the White Dot Trail is always a pleasant adventure. A good site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Scott Pond is Contoocook River, and the skiing at Crotched Mountain is nice.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a delightful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Scott Pond called the White Arrow Trail, and a nice place to camp here at Scott Pond is State Line Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Ashuelot River - South Branch, and Scott Pond Dam is a location that is near Scott Pond.

Very shallow but a great large moulth fishery....This has got to be the best kept secret in New Hampshire!  A fantastic place to kayak or canoe.  I've seen great blue heron, ducks of many varieties, Canada geese and even two bald eagles.  It's easy to surprise beaver early in the morning as well as muskrat and oppossum.  I haven's spotted deer yet, but have heard them crashing off into the brush when I paddle too close to shore in the morning mists....
