It is a 55 acre pond with no public access. Anyone wishing to swim shouldn't mind a muddy, weedy bottom or sinking up to their ankles and having their watershoes sucked off!  Wildlife includes beavers (several lodges), great blue herons, snapping turtles, snakes, and other common lake-dwellers. A perfect location to camp here at Sargents Pond is Wolfeboro Campground; since you're here you can play some golf at Kingswood Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Moultonborough is a great site to spend a night or two. A lot of precipitation falls at Sargents Pond; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. For       the period of the summer here at Sargents Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Sargents Pond temperatures dip to the 0's. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Lovell River; hiking is a popular thing to do around Sargents Pond; Weetamoo Trail is a tremendous local trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors                  entertaining stuff the White Mountains has to offer. Here at Sargents Pond you can observe Bennett Hill, and why not a little side visit to Harvey Brook. Abenaki is a splendid local ski area, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Piper Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Crescent Lake, and Crescent Lake Dam is a wonderful location. Good hiking is available along the Hammond Trail, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Brewster Beach. So much entertaining stuff right next door to Sargents Pond, definitely amazing. Everybody close by loves skiing at King Pine, and during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Laconia for sure. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the White Mountains. Wolfeboro Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest, and you can hit the beach if you want, Allen Albee Beach is practically right here. Having a tremendous time at Sargents Pond is simple. This is a good area for people who like lakes. Upper Beech Pond is a lake nearby, and camping at Willey Brook Campground is always a pleasant experience. Having a pleasant time in the White Mountains is simple. Do schedule some time to take a look at Fernalds Basin in the vicinity of Sargents Pond if you have a chance, and there's whitewater on Cold Brook for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
