If you are in Belknap county it's always a good idea to stop by Sargent Lake. Sargent Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and near Sargent Lake you come across a golf course called Pheasant Ridge Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Sawyer Lake, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Catamount Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains.

During your trip to Sargent Lake you'll meet some people from Laconia for sure; dry warm beds await you at Lake Opechee Inn and Spa. High temperatures at Sargent Lake through the warm months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Sargent Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. And | |

This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Gunstock, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the
Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail. Sargent Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and February on the other hand is the driest. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The White Mountains
is great! Suncook River is a good whitewater spot in close proximity to Sargent Lake; the sight of Lamprey Hill is beautiful.
Have a nice hiking adventure along the Onemile Trail; Sargent Lake is a great spot to visit for more
than one day, Granite State Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the White Mountains. The Landmark Inn is a good place to get some rest, and The Acord
Campground is a magnificent local campground. Hit the slopes at Abenaki nearby, and you can run the rapids of Winnipesaukee River.
