The beauty of Sargent Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. 1848 Inn & Motor Resort is a nice spot to get some rest, and close by you hit upon the Catamount Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. During the summer at Sargent Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Sargent

Sargent Lake is a good place to camp, The Acord Campground is a good place, and dry warm beds await you at Lake Opechee Inn and Spa. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors fun things. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Sargent Lake has to offer, you can camp at Granite State Campground, and the top of Lamprey Hill is easily | |

distinguished from Sargent Lake. You're in all probability into lakes, Tioga River Reservoir is one of those nearby, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Winnipesaukee River. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. This
lake is so wonderful. The Onemile Trail is a delightful hiking trail near Sargent Lake, and Sargent Lake is not far at all from Laconia. So much entertaining stuff to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. If you like skiing,
you're in luck; Gunstock is in close proximity to Sargent Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Suncook River offers some fine whitewater. Abenaki is a glorious local ski area, and Pheasant Ridge Country Club is a golf
course nearby. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Going for a hike on the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail is always a great adventure; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Sargent Lake Dam. Sargent
Lake gets lots of water; November is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
