Saltmarsh Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November, and February on the other hand is the driest. This location, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors cool things. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Opechee Bay Reservoir is one of those close by, and why not camp at Dolly Copp Big Meadow       - White Mountain National Forest while you're here at Saltmarsh Pond. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lily Pond is near Saltmarsh Pond, and do take some time to stop at Saltmarsh Pond State Forest if you're here. Camping is available at Barnes Field Campground - White Mountain National Forest, and going for a hike on the Rattlesnake Trail is always a delightful adventure. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great globe it would be. For you                  golfers we recommend close by Pheasant Ridge Country Club, and you can go for a hike on the Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Suncook River is a fine whitewater spot in close proximity to Saltmarsh Pond, and The Margate Resort is a brilliant site to get some rest. Saltmarsh Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. During your stay at Saltmarsh Pond do stop by close by Gilford Beach, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Laconia. So many exciting things to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. The snow is good at Gunstock, and there are good places to discover along the Butterworth Trail. For the period of the summer at Saltmarsh Pond temperatures are usually in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. During the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Saltmarsh Pond fall into the 0's.
