It's always fun to stop by Saltmarsh Pond. And if that's not enough there's lots more entertaining things to do in the White Mountains. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Saltmarsh Pond get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Saltmarsh Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Near Saltmarsh Pond you discover the Butterworth Trail which is

| | a splendid hiking trail; not far from Saltmarsh Pond you'll find Sargent Lake which is a beautiful lake.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Sawyer Lake, and Lake Opechee Inn and Spa is a great site to get some rest. And that's not everything you can do here in the White Mountains. Barnes Field Campground - White Mountain National Forest is a nice campground nearby; the slopes of Gunstock are so inviting noone can resist. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Dolly Copp Big Meadow - White Mountain National Forest; on a pretty day you can pop by Gilford Beach.
Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. You'll meet a lot of folks from Laconia
here, and going for a hike on the Ridge Trail is always a perfect adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Winnipesaukee River, and if you need a place to stay The Margate Resort is a brilliant choice.
A fine forest close to Saltmarsh Pond is Saltmarsh Pond State Forest; golf can be played at Pheasant Ridge Country Club.
But wait, there's more to do near Saltmarsh Pond. What would winter be without some skiing at Abenaki; the
Rattlesnake Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by. Saltmarsh Pond gets a great deal of water; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest month of the year is February. This place, Saltmarsh Pond, it just has
so much outdoors cool stuff. Paddling on Suncook River is so much fun, and Endicott Park Beach is a wonderful beach to stop at.
The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
