Saco Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Through the summertime months at Saco Lake highs are commonly in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Saco Lake dip into the 0's. Elephant Head is an exciting site to check out while at Saco Lake; what would winter be without some skiing at Attitash Bear

| | Peak. The Mount Avalon Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you need a site to stay Mount Washington Hotel is a great choice. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Avalon Trail, and float down the rapids of Ammonoosuc River in a kayak. Saco Lake is located in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. At Saco Lake you can catch a glimpse of Mount Avalon. There's so much to do here at Saco Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dry River Campground | |

is a perfect spot for that. That right there is a heap of entertaining things already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. While you're here at Saco Lake, you could also have a look at picturesque Ethan Pond; getting
to Assaguam Brook from Saco Lake is simple. Just can't get enough of Saco Lake. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. Get wet paddling on Dry River, and you'll locate a striking lake called
Ammonoosuc Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Bretton Woods is a great spot to do that; if you came to camp Tarry-ho-cottages is a tremendous site to do that. But wait, there's more to do near Saco Lake. Take a hike on
the Webster Trail, and a tremendous nearby hotel is The Mount Washington Hotel & Resort. From a precipitation point of view Saco Lake is a pretty typical location; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February.
