And that's not everything there is to do here in the White Mountains. While you're here at Round Pond you can take a hike along the Onemile Trail, and if you need a site to stay Lake Opechee Inn and Spa is a splendid choice. Yeah, come here to Round Pond for a good time. A round of golf at nearby Pheasant Ridge Country Club is a nice way to kill some time; you're sure to encounter some fine people from Laconia here. This       place, Round Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. The Butterworth Trail is a nice hiking trail next to Round Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Belknap Mountain is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Round Pond, and a scenic lake like Manning Lake is a brilliant spot to go to. Round Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. High temperatures at Round Pond throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the dark                  hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows through the winter for Round Pond tend to be in the 0's. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. Camping at Barnes Field Campground - White Mountain National Forest is always a nice experience; Gunstock is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Gilford Beach near Round Pond is always a perfect idea; you'll come across a pretty lake called Lake Eileen. Head up to Abenaki and strap some skis to your feet; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Catamount Trail. The summits of the Belknap Mountains add much beauty to the area around Round Pond; Suncook River is a good whitewater spot close by. Round Pond usually gets a large amount of rainfall; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
