    What a nice lake Rodgers Pond is. Rodgers Pond is a good location of typical rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You can spot Bear Den Hill from Rodgers Pond, and Surry Mountain Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. While you're here at Rodgers Pond you can take a hike along the Farmers Trail; a lake nearby is Goose Pond.
What a place this is for outdoors people.
 
   If you're here at Rodgers Pond and you like golf, you can have a look at Bretwood Golf Course, and a day on the slopes of Living Memorial Park is just what you need. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Rodgers Pond highs are regularly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while Rodgers Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.

There's so much to do here at Rodgers Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Ashuelot River Campground is a glorious place for that.
Get drenched paddling on Ashuelot River, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the White Arrow Trail. Going for a hike along the Marlboro Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and at Rodgers Pond Dam right next door to Rodgers Pond there are some interesting things to see.

If you go to Indian Pond in June, your likely to see it surrounded by the pink flowers of Mountain Laurel. It's very pretty. Mine Ledge to the West and East Hill to the East. It's a rugged hike up Mine Ledge,and a quarter mile more to a spectacular seventy foot ledge dropoff. Great views to the south of the Connecticut River, meandering southward. This is one of my favorite places ever....
