In New Hampshire there are many beautiful lakes, Richardson Pond is one of them. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. A good place for whitewater paddling near Richardson Pond is Ammonoosuc River, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Berlin. The Turtle Brook Trail offers hiking at its best; hey, Gotta ski right? Cannon Mountain is a splendid site to do that.

| | is a fine site to get some rest; a fine location to camp here at Richardson Pond is Twin Mountain RV Park And Cottages. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the White Mountains. There's wonderful hiking along the Nubble Mountain Trail, and camping is available at Beach Hill Campground and Cabins. This lake is so wonderful. That right there is a lot of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Richardson Pond; Gale River Trail is a good
local trail, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ammonoosuc River. From a rainfall point of view Richardson Pond is a rather typical site; the wettest month of the year is
frequently August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is February.
All through the days of summer at Richardson Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Richardson Pond are in the-10's. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. After a long day outdoors The Lodge At Bretton Woods is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and the slopes of Bretton Woods are so inviting nobody can resist.
