Gotta ski! Mount Sunapee is a pleasant place to do that, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Long Pond is near Richardson Brook Pond, and Idle Times Campground is a great local campground. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Richardson Brook Pond. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Sugar River. Very beautiful scenery and great skiing is what you get at Crotched

| | Mountain, and why not go to Richardson Brook Dam while you're here. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would be. Near Richardson Brook Pond you stumble on the Pumpelly Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail; Bean Mountain is clearly visible from Richardson Brook Pond. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Richardson Brook Pond reach the 70's, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, | |

ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Richardson Brook Pond descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly interested
in lakes, Sand Pond is one of those nearby, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a pleasant choice. There's whitewater on Ashuelot River for all you adrenaline junkies, and Rodeway Inn Claremont is
a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. The Farmers Trail is a nice hiking trail in close proximity to Richardson Brook Pond; the fine folks of Keene like to hang out nearby. The yearly rain here at Richardson Brook
Pond is about average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Northstar Campground is a nice campground nearby; getting to Richardson Brook from Richardson Brook Pond is easy.
