Do stop by Rice Reservoir while you're in this part of New Hampshire. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular spot for folks from Lebanon; the summit of Bald Mountain can be distinguished from Rice Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Claremont, and you can hit the slopes at Ascutney in the neighborhood. What a place this is for outdoors people.
