It's always fun to stop by Red Leaf Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Crows Nest Campground if you're here at Red Leaf Pond, and Beaver Brook is right next door to Red Leaf Pond and is always a pleasure to have a look at. During the warm days of summer at Red Leaf Pond highs are commonly in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Croyden Brook, and going for a hike along the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. like skiing, you're in luck; Whaleback is rather near. Newport Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest, and a glorious location to camp here at Red Leaf Pond is Loon Lake Campground. This is a popular site for people from
Lebanon. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Red Leaf Pond Dam; hiking along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail is tremendous fun. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Sugar River, and Mount Sunapee is a glorious local ski area.
