Suncook River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Demeritt Pond is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ROCHESTER; if you've had enough of Quincy Pond, Kenison Pond is close by. The top of Duke Hill is easily distinguished from Quincy Pond; if you need a place to stay Hickory       Pond Inn & Golf Course is a delightful choice. Quincy Pond is a wet spot that gets a lot of rainfall; through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January. So many enjoyable things to do here at Quincy Pond, too good to be true. The Catamount Trail is a splendid hiking trail close to Quincy Pond; Saddleback Campground is a great campground nearby. Golf can be played at The Oaks Golf Links. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't                  mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Suncook; while you're here you can take a hike along the Campground Trail. The warmest time of the year at Quincy Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Quincy Pond. Back Creek is a magnificent local stream; nearby you stumble on Fundy Cove.
