Through the warmest time of the year at Purity Lake highs are generally in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Purity Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Ossipee River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Purity Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wabanaki Campground. There's

Purity Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is September. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Purity Lake, you'll locate Long Pond which is a picturesque lake; you can run the rapids of Lovell River. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. | |
