This lake is so wonderful. This is a brilliant vicinity for folks who like lakes. Greylore Farm Pond is a lake close at hand; Purgatory Pond is a tremendous spot to visit for more than one day, Skypark Campground is a tremendous spot to camp nearby. There's whitewater on Merrimack River for all you thrill seekers, and you can never       get enough of the glorious skiing at McIntyre. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Lots of folks from Manchester-Nashua come to Purgatory Pond, and the view of charming Great Hill is nice. The warmest time of the year at Purgatory Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Purgatory Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter                  nights. Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do near Purgatory Pond. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Pats Peak. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Concord/Bow is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Lakes are splendid; Tirrell Pond is a lake that's close to Purgatory Pond. Going for a hike on the Catamount Trail is always a great adventure, and some close by water includes Hardy Brook. Twin Oaks Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and close by you come across the Onemile Trail which is a great hiking trail. The high level of rain makes Purgatory Pond a quite wet place; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most, and September meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
