Cranmore Mountain is a nice local ski area, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Province Pond; Gemini Trail is a delightful local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Ellis River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. On a gorgeous day you acquire a panorama of Major Mountain from Province Pond; if you came to camp Cove Camping Area is a great site to do that. You assume that's       enough? Just getting warmed up. A great nearby hotel is Eagle Mountain House; why not take a refreshing hike along the Kearsarge Trail. Much rain falls at Province Pond; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is September. So much fun stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too delightful to be true. The slopes of Black Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and Province Pond is delightful enough to spend                  more than a day at, Basin Campground and Picnic Area is a delightful local campground. All year is a fine time in the White Mountains if you like the outdoors. While you're here at Province Pond you can play some golf at North Conway Country Club; whitewater paddling is perfect on Saco River - East Branch. For the duration of the days of summer at Province Pond highs are generally in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. During the winter highs are commonly in the 20's; nighttime lows at Province Pond through the wintertime regularly sink into the 0's. Colonial Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Province Brook Trail.
