This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Falling Water Trail; a good nearby hotel is Stony Brook Motel and Lodge. Profile Lake is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Any time is a pleasant time at Profile Lake if you go for the outdoors. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Profile Lake called the Greenleaf Trail.                  Profile Lake is in the neighborhood of Franconia Notch which is absolutely worth taking a look at, and there are other places here than Profile Lake, for example Eagles Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Cascade Brook, and if you came for an overnight stay Lafayette Campground is a splendid spot to camp. A pleasant spot for whitewater paddling close to Profile Lake is Pemigewasset River, and Campers World Campground is a pleasant local campground. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Profile Lake reach the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Profile Lake. Not far from Profile Lake, you'll locate Echo Lake which is a scenic lake, and as expected Dry Brook flows through this area. Having a great time in the White Mountains is uncomplicated.
