The beauty of Profile Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water close by, Dry Brook is a stream you can stop by while here, and hey, Gotta ski right? Loon Mountain is a brilliant place to do that. The slopes of Cannon Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pemigewasset River. | | things in close proximity to Profile Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Stony Brook Motel and Lodge. Artists Bluff is a great spot to stop at while in the neighborhood, and nearby you find the Falling Water Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. here at Profile Lake reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while Profile Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's.
You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. At Profile Lake you can catch a glimpse of Cannon Mountain; on a great day you can take a hike along the Greenleaf Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Lafayette Campground is
a pleasant site to camp, and Profile Lake is not the only place nearby, Echo Lake is a nearby lake. Profile Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when
it's the driest. All the outdoors amusing things in the White Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. A good site for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Profile Lake is Cascade Brook; there is a fine hiking trail nearby
called the Old Bridle Path. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. A great site to go to next to Profile Lake is Franconia Notch, and if you've had enough of Profile Lake, Eagles Lakes is close by. Profile Lake is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains.
