This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Eagles Lakes, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cascade Brook. Summertime at Profile Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's       for Profile Lake. From a rainfall point of view Profile Lake is a reasonably typical spot; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Profile Lake is unbeatable! You can never get enough of the great skiing at Loon Mountain. If you're here, you might as well pop by Franconia Notch; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Greenleaf Trail. After a long day                  outdoors Stony Brook Motel and Lodge is a fine place to spend a night or two, and Profile Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Campers World Campground is a great place to camp nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to do in the White Mountains. There's some flowing water close by, Dry Brook is a stream you can have a look at during your stay, and Echo Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. Near Profile Lake you come across the Old Bridle Path which is a wonderful hiking trail, and some interesting geology is available here, Artists Bluff is right here. You simply ought to adore the White Mountains. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Cannon Mountain since you're here, and Pemigewasset River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Cannon Mountain is striking and can be observed from Profile Lake, and Lafayette Campground is a nice local campground.
