| | Very shallow but a great large moulth fishery. Says Kyle Frank
This has got to be the best kept secret in New Hampshire! A fantastic place to kayak or canoe. I've seen great blue heron, ducks of many varieties, Canada geese and even two bald eagles. It's easy to surprise beaver early in the morning as well as muskrat and oppossum. I haven's spotted deer yet, but have heard them crashing off into the brush when I paddle too close to shore in the morning mists. Says Nat Hall
