The beauty of Poverty Pond is reason enough to stop by. Having a delightful time in the White Mountains is uncomplicated. You can run the rapids of Newfound River River in the neighborhood of Poverty Pond. Lakes are fine; Huntoon Pond is a lake that's right next door to Poverty Pond. Skiing at Ragged Mountain is one of those things you just must do, and if you need a spot to stay Red Carpet Motel is a delightful choice. Going for a hike on the Melton Falls

During your trip to Poverty Pond you'll meet some folks from Concord for sure; close by you hit upon the Wilmot Trail which is a great hiking trail. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the White Mountains. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Tenney Mountain. LLC is a good place for that. At Poverty Pond during the summertime highs are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the
0's overnight here at Poverty Pond. Man, is there loads of enjoyable stuff to do in the vicinity of Poverty Pond. There's whitewater on Smith River for all you adrenaline junkies; dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn and
Suites Plymouth. The yearly rainfall here at Poverty Pond is about average; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. The sight of beautiful Dickinson Hill near Poverty
Pond is perfect. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Poverty Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Kenwood & Evergreen. Tioga Brook is a striking stream that is worth stopping at; there are good places to explore along the Holt Trail. Poverty Pond is located in the White Mountains.
