Do explore March Pond close to Poverty Pond, it's a stunning lake, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Newfound River River. This lake is so wonderful. Ragged Mountain has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and Huntoon Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. Poverty Pond gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; May is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.       Don't leave Poverty Pond without first going for a hike along the Melton Falls Trail; if you came to camp Camp Kenwood & Evergreen is a great place to do that. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Visit Tioga Brook if you're here at Poverty Pond; Tenney Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. Any time is a great time at Poverty Pond if you adore the outdoors. Dickinson Hill is a peak you                  can spot from Poverty Pond, and there's good hiking along the Holt Trail. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Smith River, and camping at Bear Mountain Rustic Campground LLC is always a tremendous experience. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Poverty Pond. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while Poverty Pond night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's.
