This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Poverty Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Kenwood & Evergreen is a fine spot for that, and if you need a place to stay Red Carpet Motel is a tremendous choice. Through the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Poverty Pond. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Poverty Pond are

| | in the 0's. Poverty Pond is located in the White Mountains. And that's not all you can do here at Poverty Pond. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Ragged Mountain is next to Poverty Pond; you can run the rapids of Newfound River River. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area close to Poverty Pond has to offer. Tenney Mountain is a great local ski area, and there are delightful locations to discover along the Wilmot Trail. | |

Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The White Mountains is unbeatable! Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Huntoon Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth.
Good hiking is available along the Holt Trail, and here at Poverty Pond you can make out Dickinson Hill. Don't leave Poverty Pond without first going for a hike along the Melton Falls Trail, and why not a little side trip to Tioga
Brook. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Smith River for all you adrenaline people. Lakes are glorious; March Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Poverty Pond. An average amount of rain falls at Poverty
Pond; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the White Mountains has to offer. Poverty Pond is great enough
to spend more than a day at, Bear Mountain Rustic Campground LLC is a great local campground; if you're going to from Concord, you won't be the only one.
