Pool Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Gardner Super 8 Motel is a tremendous choice; paddling on Ashuelot River - South Branch is so much fun. High temperatures at Pool Pond during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Pool Pond.

A common amount of rainfall falls here at Pool Pond; throughout May this area sees
the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Colonial Hotel is a glorious location to get some rest, and not far from Pool Pond you'll stumble on Rugg Pond which is a lovely lake. Going for a hike on the Harling Trail is always
a good adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. Contoocook Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and don't leave Pool Pond without first going for a hike along the White Dot Trail. Pool Pond is nice enough to spend more than
a day at, Woodemere Park Campground is a nice local campground; whitewater paddling is fine on Contoocook River. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Shattuck Golf Course; there are good spots to discover along the Parker Trail.
