For the duration of the summer at Pontook Reservoir temperatures are typically in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 20's while Pontook Reservoir overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. Going for a hike on the Bog Dam Trail is always a splendid adventure, and unsurprisingly Island Brook flows through this area.
