At Pleasant Pond you can catch a sight of Clement Hill, and if you need a place to stay Centennial Inn is a perfect choice. Hit the slopes at Ragged Mountain close by, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Contoocook River. lake in close proximity to Pleasant Pond; after a long day outdoors The Henniker Motel is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Pleasant Pond during the months of summer are in the 80's, and during summer
nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Pleasant Pond throughout the wintertime frequently dip into the 0's. Some magnificent nature is available
in Davisville State Forest, and Grassy Pond Dam has great water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Near Pleasant Pond you stumble on the Old Country Road which is a glorious hiking trail, and there are other spots here than Pleasant Pond, for example Tom Pond.
