Very delightful scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Pats Peak, and unsurprisingly, this is a perfect region for people who like lakes, Deering Reservoir is a lake nearby. Just can't get enough of Pleasant Pond. Hiking along the Mitchell Hill Road is brilliant fun; you're       almost certainly interested in lakes, Shattuck Pond is one of those nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The Henniker Motel is a splendid place to get some rest, and camping at Wildwood Campground is always a wonderful experience. Summertime highs at Pleasant Pond typically tend to be in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Pleasant Pond sink into                  the 10's. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Crotched Mountain while you're here, and do take a hike on the Old Country Road. All the water falling down from the sky makes Pleasant Pond a wet site; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Contoocook River, and if you're visiting from Manchester-Nashua, you won't be the only one. Bible Hill can be distinguished from Pleasant Pond, and there's always Pleasant Pond Dam to pop by next to Pleasant Pond. So many exciting things to do at Pleasant Pond, so little time. A day at Picnickers Beach near Pleasant Pond is time well spent, and Pleasant Pond is right by the Wapack Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
