Why not stop by Pleasant Lake if you're passing through these parts. Summer at Pleasant Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Pleasant Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Campground Trail is always a glorious adventure; get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Suncook. Pleasant Lake Dam has good water scenery and it's close to Pleasant Lake, and there are good spots to explore along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail. You believe that's enough? of close by McIntyre, and there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Suncook River. A magnificent close by hotel is Red Roof Inn Loudon, and a lake close by is Freeses Pond. Gulf Hill is striking and can be distinguished from
Pleasant Lake, and don't leave Pleasant Lake without first going for a hike along the Catamount Trail. From a rain point of view Pleasant Lake is a quite normal site; November is the month that gets the most rain while January is
the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Fairfield Inn & Suites Hooksett is a splendid location to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Pleasant Lake has to offer, you can camp at Blake's Brook Campground.
