After a long day outdoors Benjamin's Motel is a great site to spend a night or two, and while you're here you can play some golf at Townsend Ridge Country Club. There is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Pierce Pond called the Old Country Road; camping at Pierce Pond is fine fun, Field and Stream Travel Trailer Park is a fine local campground. On a good day at Pierce Pond you can take a hike along the Mitchell Hill       Road; a fine spot to have a look at close by is Lost Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Pierce Pond is a brilliant place to camp, Lake Shirley Beach and Campgrounds is a brilliant place, and great water scenery is available at Taylor Pond Dam near Pierce Pond. Yeah, come here to Pierce Pond for a great time. A nice nearby hotel is Harrison's Cottages; the vista of striking Townsend Hill is brilliant. This place, Pierce Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors                  exciting stuff. The snow is glorious at McIntyre, and you'll locate a pretty lake called Cider Mill Pond. Summertime at Pierce Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Pierce Pond dip into the 10's. A good deal of rain falls at Pierce Pond; most of the rain falls during November while September is usually the driest month. Head up to Wachusett Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. A swamp like Dead Swamp in the vicinity of Pierce Pond has lots of interesting things to see, and Devils Den is a great site to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Souhegan River, and going for a hike on the Wapack Trail is always a splendid adventure.
