    Pierce Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. There are perfect locations to look at along the Wapack Trail, and a quick journey to Wolf Brook is absolutely a fine idea. There's so much to do here at Pierce Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Field and Stream Travel Trailer Park is a nice location for that, and Pierce Pond is next to Lost Valley which is definitely worth a visit. What a location this is for outdoors people. Near  
   Pierce Pond you find the Mitchell Hill Road which is a pleasant hiking trail, and Townsend Ridge Country Club is a golf course close by.
Going for a hike on the Old Country Road is always a pleasant adventure, and Pierce Pond is not the only place nearby, Trout Pond is a nearby lake. Pierce Pond truly is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. Skiing at Wachusett Mountain is one of those things you just have to do, and dry warm beds await you at

If you need a spot to stay Four Points By Sheraton Leominster is a brilliant choice. At Pierce Pond you can observe Townsend Hill; Pierce Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Field & Stream Travel Trailer is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at Taylor Pond Dam in close proximity to Pierce Pond; there are some great whitewater spots on Souhegan River.
Everybody loves Devils Den; if you've had enough of Pierce Pond, Taylor Pond is close by. For the duration of the warm months at Pierce Pond highs are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Pierce Pond are in the 10's. Dead Swamp is an exciting swamp near Pierce Pond; if you're dropping by from Manchester-Nashua, you won't be the only one.

Ahhh good ol Heywood's used to be a great lake for swimming with rope swings that threw you out 80 feet into the water. but since then many things have changed people caught on to the fun nites out there , and police started showing up and now the whole place ''all the trees'' have been cut down  above the apple orchard, so no swimming there or you will be hit with a fine of up to 500$...

Locust Pond is a lake that was formed in 1954 by the creation of the Locust Pond Dam on Locust Brook, which flows from the Locust Pond to the larger Merrimack River. Locust Pond is considered a lake because Mass Regs (310 CMR 10.04) state that a lake is ?any open body of fresh water with a surface area of ten acres or more, and shall include great ponds. The site is bordered by Locust Avenue and light residential development to the northwest, and Route 3 to the southwest. The other half of the perimeter is bordered by dense development. The pond is mostly open water with no emergent marsh development. The upland is all forested. The habitat quality of this site is limited by the development surrounding it, however, it should provide at least transient habitat for aquatic mammals such as beaver, otter, and mink, and many of the upland mammals and migratory songbirds of forested habitats....
