So much cool stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too fine to be true. A great beach near Perley Pond is Gilford Beach, and while you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Laconia Country Club. Perley Pond is a wet location that gets a great deal of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is usually the driest month. This lake is one of the great       places here in the White Mountains. If you're here at Perley Pond, do take a tour to Cass Point; Perley Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Basin Campground - White Mountain National Forest is a fine local campground. At Perley Pond during the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Perley                  Pond temperatures drop to the 0's. Nearby lakes? Sure, Opechee Bay Reservoir is next to Perley Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Lake Opechee Inn and Spa. All year is a magnificent time in the White Mountains if you adore the outdoors. There's a forest here at Perley Pond called Opechee Bay Tract, and Endicott Park Beach is a beach nearby that you can check out. Some nearby water includes Black Brook, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Butterworth Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the White Mountains. Lakeport Dam is not far at all from Perley Pond, and camping at Cold River - White Mountain National Forest is always a glorious experience. This lake is so wonderful. You're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Footes Pond is one of those nearby, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Gunstock is quite near. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Rattlesnake Trail, and Winnipesaukee River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Any time is a great time at Perley Pond if you adore the outdoors. You'll meet a lot of people from Laconia here, and Abenaki is a magnificent local ski area. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Perley Pond.
