This lake is so wonderful.       If you need a spot to stay The Landmark Inn is a pleasant choice, and playing golf is lots of fun at Laconia Country Club. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the White Mountains. A spree to Gilford Beach close to Perley Pond is always a delightful idea. Perley Pond is a wet site that gets lots of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. That right there                  is plenty of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. While you're here at Perley Pond you will meet lots of people from nearby Laconia; a nice nearby hotel is Lake Opechee Inn and Spa. This lake is so wonderful. Black Brook is a good local stream, as expected you could also stop at Lake Winnisquam while you're here; it's not far at all. Don't leave Perley Pond without first going for a hike along the Rattlesnake Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Gunstock is reasonably near. You definitely ought to love Perley Pond. Not far from Perley Pond you can enjoy the trees of Opechee Bay Tract, and the Butterworth Trail offers hiking at its best. Float down the rapids of Winnipesaukee River in a kayak, and if you're here you ought to visit Cass Point.
