Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff near Perkins Pond. Going for a hike on the Old Country Road is always a glorious adventure, and if you need a spot to stay Hampton Inn Concord/Bow is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. A swamp like Perkins Pond Marsh in the vicinity of Perkins Pond has lots of       attention-grabbing things to see, and don't leave Perkins Pond without first going for a hike along the Wapack Trail. Perkins Pond is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. There are plenty of people from Manchester-Nashua here at Perkins Pond, and Pats Peak is a glorious local ski area.                  This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Perkins Pond has to offer, you can camp at All Seasons Campground, and Perkins Pond Dam is pretty. You'll come across a scenic lake called Mount William Pond near Perkins Pond, and a golf course close by is Oak Brook Golf Course. After a long day outdoors The Henniker Motel is a fine location to spend a night or two, and since you're here, you could also take a look at striking Duck Pond. During the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Perkins Pond. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 20's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Perkins Pond tend to be in the 10's. Go for a hike on the Mitchell Hill Road; Perkins Pond is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Peacock Hill Campground is a nice place to camp nearby.
