I walked our youngest child, Deborah Jean, in a stroller on our beautiful back roads. We have a wonderful family atmosphere of folks living here and a law enforcement that does a fabulous job keeping our town safe. We love to fish, swim and boat; and although we had a setback with the dam break for the summer of 2006, we look forward to seeing the repairs of our dam to once again restore our beautiful body of water.  | 18 miles away I went to this mountain with my school and it was a really fun expiernce and I am planning to go back with my school some time soon.......ns including 14,000 feet of new snow making pipe, 25 new energy efficient snow guns, new snow groomers, a new Wonder carpet lift for beginners, chairlift improvements including reviving lift service to Spear Mountain, base lodge renovations including new carpet, the repair of steps and outside brick walkways, the addition of seasonal lockers and an outdoor fire pit, and adding two new restaurants. The renovations did not stop there. In 2008, Ragged Mountain announced the addition of a new upscale dining establishment, additional snow-making capacity, and three all new terrain parks including one of the only all natural terrain parks in the East.
