Parker Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. There are delightful places to explore along the Parker Trail, and a splendid nearby hotel is Colonial Hotel. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great globe it would be. Rugg Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Parker Pond get into the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down

If you like skiing, you're in luck; Crotched Mountain is near Parker Pond; whitewater paddling is wonderful on Contoocook River. From a rainfall point of view Parker Pond is a relatively typical spot; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Harling Trail; Parker Pond is not far at all from Keene. This lake is so wonderful. Emerald Acres is a great local campground, and the skiing at Wachusett Mountain is great.

is there plenty of entertaining things to do near Parker Pond. A lake nearby is Pool Pond, and let's not forget Frost Brook which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. Monadnock State Park Campground is a great campground nearby, and golf can be played at Monadnock Country Club.
