Lakes are great; Cornelius Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Palmer Pond. Spend the day on the beach at Wadleigh State Beach if you're here at Palmer Pond, and don't leave Palmer Pond without first going for a hike along the Wilmot Trail. Summertime highs at Palmer Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's, and the night is somewhat colder of course, typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes       with highs in the 20's while Palmer Pond night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. There's whitewater on Warner River for all you thrill seekers, and skiing at Mount Sunapee is one of those things you just should do. A common amount of rain falls here at Palmer Pond; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do close to Palmer Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Warner River Reservoir; enjoy a round of golf at Country Club of NH. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Birch Hill can be distinguished from Palmer Pond, and Palmer Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Massasecum Park and Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
