It's always fun to stop by The Overflow. Whaleback is a pleasant local ski area, and you must certainly stop at lovely State Park Beach while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mount Sunapee is near The Overflow, and why not take a look at Long Pond Brook Dam while you're here. The Overflow Reservoir is a delightful lake near The Overflow, and Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a perfect location to get some rest.

| | And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in the neighborhood of The Overflow. Whitewater paddling is great on Sugar River; lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Lity Pond. local campground. There's tremendous hiking along the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Claremont. You're sure to stumble upon some nice people from Lebanon here; hiking is a popular thing
to do around The Overflow; Clark Pond Loop is a tremendous local trail. Camping at Crows Nest Campground is always a pleasant experience; don't leave The Overflow without first going for a hike along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. From The Overflow you get a good vista of Bald Mountain, and a trip to Dewey Beach is always a great idea. From a precipitation point of view The Overflow
is a reasonably common site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month. Summertime at The Overflow arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours
it's ordinarily in the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for The Overflow.
