If you are in this part of New Hampshire make sure to pay a visit to Otter Brook Pond. Mill Race Dam is not far at all from Otter Brook Pond; Stony Brook is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day you can stop by Spruce Swamp, a swamp in close proximity to Otter Brook Pond, and Campers Beach is a lovely beach to stop by. here at Otter Brook Pond, and you can stay the night at Seven Maples Campground. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area right next door to Otter Brook Pond has to offer. In case you don’t have a
problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Contoocook River, and there are great places to discover along the Wapack Trail. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Pats Peak; an afternoon playing golf at
Monadnock Country Club is always a bliss. There's so much to do here at Otter Brook Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Field'n Forest Recreation Area is a great site for that, and skiing at Crotched Mountain is one of
those things you just have to do. During the summertime months at Otter Brook Pond highs are regularly in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in
the 10's for Otter Brook Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Colonial Hotel is a good place to get some rest, and do stop by Powder Mill Pond, it's a scenic lake.
