All year is a magnificent time in the White Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. Here at Opechee Bay Reservoir there are plenty of people from Laconia, and a lake close by is Lily Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to       do here at Opechee Bay Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Cold River - White Mountain National Forest is a magnificent location for that, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Endicott Park Beach. If you need a location to stay Lake Opechee Inn and Spa is a good choice, and going for a hike on the Rattlesnake Trail is always a splendid adventure. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do in the White Mountains. You'll need more                  than a day to discover everything Opechee Bay Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Basin Campground - White Mountain National Forest, and if you get bored of Opechee Bay Reservoir you could also stop at nearby Perley Pond. Abenaki is a very popular ski area in the vicinity; if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Gilford Beach. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Lake View Golf Club is a good golf course nearby; not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Opechee Bay Tract. This lake is so wonderful. Very good water scenery is available at Avery Dam in the vicinity of Opechee Bay Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors The Landmark Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Opechee Bay Reservoir has it all. Paddling on Winnipesaukee River is so much fun; Gunstock has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. Don't leave Opechee Bay Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Pasture Trail, and you should take a look at Cass Point when you're here. So much exciting stuff to do here in the White Mountains, too magnificent to be true. A quick visit to Black Brook close to Opechee Bay Reservoir is a great idea, and you can go for a hike on the Butterworth Trail. For the duration of the long summer days here at Opechee Bay Reservoir, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
