There's always Oliverian Dam to pop by right next door to Oliverian Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Baker River offers some splendid whitewater. A picturesque lake like Lake Tarleton close to Oliverian Pond is a great location to check out; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Cannon Mountain since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Oliverian Pond you can take a hike along the Chippewa Trail, and

| | Oliverian Pond is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Moose Hillock Campground is a perfect spot to camp nearby. From a rain point of view Oliverian Pond is a relatively common spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Going for a hike along the Black Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Wachipauka Pond. | |

If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great world it would be. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Oliverian Pond, you could take a look at Blueberry Mountain Brook; you can have a good hiking adventure
along the Blueberry Mountain Trail. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Oliverian Pond. The peak of Blueberry Mountain can be made out from Oliverian Pond, and Blackmount Country Club is a golf course
close by. All through the summer at Oliverian Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Oliverian Pond.
Dry warm beds await you at Sunset Hill House, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Baker River. Scenic View Campground is a great local campground, and Ammonoosuc Inn is a good place to get some rest.
