The warmest time of the year at Old Wilton Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. There are other spots here than Old Wilton Reservoir, for example Sandhill Pond, and the       Mitchell Hill Road is a perfect hiking trail nearby. Why not pop by Stockwell Brook Dam while you're here, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Wapack Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Very stunning scenery and brilliant skiing is what you get at Crotched Mountain, and you'll in all probability meet some folks from Manchester-Nashua here. If you need a location to stay Four Points By Sheraton Leominster is a pleasant choice, and Echo Valley                  is a great local campground. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Pats Peak if you're here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Old Wilton Reservoir. Old Wilton Reservoir is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Wildwood Campground is a good spot to camp nearby, and it's a brilliant idea to check out Blood Brook. Paddling on Stony Brook is so much fun, and going for a hike on the Old Country Road is always a great adventure. Old Wilton Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; September is when it's the driest.
