Nutt Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A day on the slopes of McIntyre is just what you need, and Nutt Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Calef Lake Camping Area is a great local campground. What a place this is for outdoors people. If you need a place to stay Manchester/Airport Super 8 Motel is a perfect choice, and you don’t have to go far from Nutt Pond to spot the water at Goffs Falls Dam.

Baker Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at; going for a hike on the Broken
Boulder Smith Pond Trail is always a delightful adventure. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Nutt Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while Nutt Pond night low temperatures
through the wintertime are in the 10's. Don't miss out on a good swamp; Great Cohas Swamp is right here at Nutt Pond; people from Manchester-Nashua love to come here.
Nutt Pond is a wet spot that gets much rain; during November
this area sees the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Merrimack River offers some wonderful whitewater, and you can go for a hike on the Catamount Trail.
