From North Pond you get a tremendous vista of Fall Mountain; what would a spot like North Pond be without interesting nearby marks like The Stairs. Good hiking is available along the Futures Trail, and Ascutney has great slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Great Brook is a stream you can explore while here, and why not spend some time golfing at a close       by golf course like Hooper Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Connecticut River Reservoir, and you'll meet a lot of people from Keene here. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Cold River. All through the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at North Pond. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for North Pond. Whohoo, so many                  entertaining things in one place! North Pond is so good! A great site to camp here at North Pond is The Farm Campground, and a great close by hotel is Everyday Inn. North Pond is a relatively wet place mostly with a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and February on the other hand is the driest. Middle Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Lover Meadow is a charming place any time of year. Hiking is a popular thing to do around North Pond; Slot Trail is a great local trail, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Springfield, Vt is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. The Hang Glider Trail offers hiking at its best, and Bellows Falls Dam is a place that is in close proximity to North Pond.
