Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Norcross Pond. What would winter be without some skiing at Waterville Valley. The vista of Mount Anderson from Norcross Pond is lovely, and the slopes of Bretton Woods are so inviting noone can resist. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Norcross Pond, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the       wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Norcross Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. This spot, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. A wooded area in the neighborhood of Norcross Pond is White Mountain National Forest, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Carrigain Notch Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry River Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and whitewater                  paddling is tremendous on Dry River. So much amusing stuff to do in the White Mountains, not sufficient time. Norcross Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Passaconaway Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. Lakes? Sure, Ethan Pond is close at hand. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Nancy Pond; while you're here, you might as well go to Carrigain Notch. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Norcross Pond. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sawyer River; on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Signal Ridge Trail. Seasons at Attitash is a pleasant location to get some rest, and there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Mount Bemis Trail. Norcross Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. From a rain point of view Norcross Pond is a pretty typical location; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
