A visit to Newfound Lake is always a good idea. Newfound Lake is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. At Newfound Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Newfound Lake tend to be in the 0's. Newfound Lake is a good spot of normal rainfall; most of the rain falls during May, and January meanwhile is the driest month. What a place this is for outdoors people. Shores Campground. Newfound Lake truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. People from Concord love to come to Newfound Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the White Mountains.
If you need a site to stay Pleasant View Bed & Breakfast is a good choice; camping is available at Davidson's Countryside Campground. The panorama of picturesque Hemp Hill near Newfound Lake is great, and if you come at the right
time of year, Pemigewasset River offers some delightful whitewater. You'll hit upon a delightful lake called Ayer Island Station Pond near Newfound Lake, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ragged Mountain.
That right there is a lot of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Newfound River River, and there's glorious hiking along the Melton Falls Trail. Don't forget to
take a magnificent little journey to Black Brook, and an exciting thing to take a look at right next door to Newfound Lake is Newfound Lake Dam.
