Newfound Lake is a lake worth visiting. So much fun stuff in the White Mountains, just remarkable. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling close to Newfound Lake is Pemigewasset River, and the skiing at Tenney Mountain is great. If you need a place to stay Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth is a nice choice; from Newfound Lake you acquire a pleasant sight of Hemp Hill. Newfound Lake is located in the White Mountains. Shores Campground is a good local campground. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. A great spot to camp here at Newfound Lake is Newfound RV Park; if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along
the Holt Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the White Mountains. Ragged Mountain is a wonderful local ski area, and going for a hike along the Manning Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
From a precipitation point of view Newfound Lake is a rather typical location; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is January. That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Newfound Lake has
it all. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Melton Falls Trail, and it's a splendid idea to go to Black Brook.
