The summit of Hemp Hill can be observed from Newfound Lake, and going for a hike on the Holt Trail is always a glorious adventure. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. So many exciting things to do at Newfound Lake, so little time. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Pemigewasset River; since you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby       Concord. Head up to Tenney Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; Newfound RV Park is a good local campground. Newfound Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is January. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. The snow is pleasant at Ragged Mountain, and after a long day outdoors Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth is a tremendous place to spend a night                  or two. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the White Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Newfound River River, and obviously Black Brook is a gorgeous stream that is worth going to. If you need a spot to stay Red Carpet Motel is a brilliant choice, and you'll stumble on a charming lake called Newfound River Reservoir. Through the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Newfound Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows at Newfound Lake during the wintertime regularly dip into the 0's. This place rocks, just look at all the enjoyable things to do near Newfound Lake. Why not camp at Blueberry Shores Campground while you're here at Newfound Lake, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Manning Trail. Pasquaney Bay is near Newfound Lake and is a pleasant site to visit, and the Melton Falls Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There's some interesting stuff to make out at Newfound Lake Dam near Newfound Lake, and do visit Ayer Island Station Pond, it's a gorgeous lake.
