Hit the slopes at Tenney Mountain in the vicinity, and paddling on Pemigewasset River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Manning       Trail; do visit Ayer Island Station Pond, it's a scenic lake. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ragged Mountain; whitewater paddling is fine on Newfound River River. You truly ought to like the White Mountains. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains.
