Go to Nancy Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There's so much to do here at Nancy Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Passaconaway Campground is a great site for that; Mount Washington Hotel is a good spot to get some rest. Mount Anderson is a peak you can observe from Nancy Pond, and if you get bored of Nancy Pond you could also explore close by Sawyer Pond.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Dry River; why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Bemis Trail. Man, is there a heap of fun things to do next to Nancy Pond. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Waterville Valley. Hit the slopes at Bretton Woods close at hand; if you need a place to stay Seasons at Attitash is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. | |

You'll need more than a day to look at everything Nancy Pond has to offer, you can camp at Dry River Campground; Little Sawyer Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the White Mountains.
Nancy Pond is right by the Signal Ridge Trail, and Nancy Cascades is an inspiring place to stop at while you're here. So many enjoyable things to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. There's a forest here at Nancy Pond called
White Mountain National Forest, and Carrigain Notch is also a perfect place to explore. If you come at the right time of year, Sawyer River offers some great whitewater, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Nancy Pond; Carrigain
Notch Trail is a nice local trail. The amount of rain that falls at Nancy Pond is close to the national average; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Summertime highs at Nancy Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's while Nancy Pond night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's.
