This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail, and The Exeter Inn is a nice place to get some rest. Nearby lakes? Sure, Hoar Pond is close to Muddy Pond, and you can run the rapids of Little River. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Muddy Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Fox Run Campground is a wonderful site for that, and the snow is great at Bradford.   The Exeter Inn, Exeter 9 miles away PEA and Downtown Brentood Kingstead New Market.
