This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Campground Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and why not have a look at nearby Rollins Brook since you're here at Muddy Pond. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is great at Bradford. Lakes are great; Hoar Pond is a lake that's near Muddy Pond. The top of Redoak Hill is easily distinguished from Muddy Pond; if the weather is perfect, you can       go for a hike along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail. There's so much to do here at Muddy Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Three Ponds Campground is a delightful place for that, and not far from Muddy Pond you'll stumble on Nottingham Lake which is a beautiful lake. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Muddy Pond. Hickory Pond Inn & Golf Course is a tremendous site to get some rest, and you don't                  should go far to enjoy Smith State Forest. Muddy Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Fox Run Campground is a tremendous local campground, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Little River.
