Mud Pond is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. Bay Point is next to Mud Pond and is a great place to visit. Lakes? Sure, Lake Sunapee is in the neighborhood. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Mud Pond; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is January.

| | at all from Mud Pond. This place, Mud Pond, it completely has so much outdoors cool stuff. If you came to camp Loon Lake Campground is a glorious place to do that, and going for a hike along the Wilmot Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. You get a wonderful panorama of Baisdell Hill from Mud Pond, and hiking along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail is wonderful fun.

and a day on the slopes of Whaleback is just what you need. A fine place for whitewater paddling close to Mud Pond is Croyden Brook, and the snow is fine at Mount Sunapee. But wait, there's more to do close to Mud Pond. Dry warm beds
await you at Rodeway Inn Claremont. There's so much to do here at Mud Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Rand Pond Campground is a delightful place for that.
While you're here at Mud Pond you can take a hike along the
West Ridge Trail; Dewey Beach is quite nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. If you want to hit the beach, State Park Beach is in the neighborhood, and Sugar River is a good whitewater spot close by. All through the warm days
of summer highs here at Mud Pond get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mud Pond are in the 0's.
