The beauty of Mud Pond attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail is nice fun, and since you're here you must have a look at Bay Point. A splendid beach near Mud Pond is Dewey Beach, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a glorious choice. Not far from Mud Pond, you'll stumble on Lake Sunapee which is a pretty lake, and you can take a little trip to Lake Sunapee Dam since you're here at Mud Pond. If you're looking for a beach near Mud Pond, we recommend State Park Beach, and scenic scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Whaleback.

Campground is a tremendous campground here, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Wilmot Trail. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Mud Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but
if it's for you then we recommend Croyden Brook, and after a long day outdoors Birch Lane Motel & Cottages is a good spot to spend a night or two.
During the summertime at Mud Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's; during
summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 20's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mud Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. There's whitewater on Sugar River for all you adrenaline
rush seekers, and what would winter be without some skiing at Mount Sunapee. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Mud Pond, too perfect to be true. The sight of Baisdell Hill from Mud Pond is beautiful, and while you're here you can take a hike along the West Ridge Trail.
