Mud Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ascutney while you're here, and skiing at Whaleback is one of those things you just have to do. This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Mud Pond you can take a hike along the Futures Trail, and here at Mud Pond you can catch a glimpse of Beauty Hill. This place rocks, just look at all the entertaining

| | stuff to do in the neighborhood of Mud Pond. A pleasant swamp close to Mud Pond is Puckerpod Swamp, and playing golf is lots of fun at Carter Country Club. So many exciting things to do at Mud Pond, so little time. After a long day outdoors Coolidge Hotel is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Mud Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Kings and Queens Court is a splendid site for that. A nice location for whitewater | |

paddling near Mud Pond is Connecticut River, and Cooney Hollow is positively a great place to check out. Do explore Moses Pond close to Mud Pond, it's a stunning lake, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn White River Junction.
Burr Brook is a magnificent place to stop by; you can stay the night at Maple Leaf Motel and Campground. High temperatures at Mud Pond throughout the summertime are in the 70's, and the night is quite cooler of course, generally in
the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mud Pond dip into the-10's. Mud Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; August is the month
that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. While you're here at Mud Pond, you could also stop at lovely Sky Ranch Pond, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Hang Glider Trail. Willard
Ledge is an exciting spot to go to while at Mud Pond, and you're sure to come across some nice folks from Lebanon here. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Bloods Brook, and the Slot Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby.
