This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Pumpelly Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge is a great location to spend a night or two. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Carr Brook is a good local stream; hey, Gotta ski right? Mount Sunapee is a splendid place       to do that. What would winter be without some skiing at Crotched Mountain; the Farmers Trail offers hiking at its best. All through the warm months at Mud Pond temperatures are usually in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. This is a pleasant area for folks who                  like lakes. Pickerel Creek Pond is a lake in the neighborhood, and if you need a place to stay E.F. Lane Hotel is a great choice. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Trout Pond, and you can run the rapids of Otter Brook. If you came for an overnight stay Idle Times Campground is a good place to camp, and Pickerel Creek Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Cliffton's Country Camping is a brilliant campground nearby; Carter Hill is picturesque and can be distinguished from here. You definitely should go for Mud Pond. Don't leave Mud Pond without first going for a hike along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail, and North Outlet is a fine place to stop at.
