Why not stop by Mud Pond if you're passing through these parts. People from Concord love to come to Mud Pond, and getting to Amey Brook from Mud Pond is trouble-free. The high level of rainfall makes Mud Pond a relatively wet site; all through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January. Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Mud Pond; Wapack Trail is a nice local trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in close proximity to Mud Pond. Mud Pond is not the
only place nearby, French Pond is a nearby lake. Not far from Mud Pond you can enjoy the trees of Ames State Forest, and if you need a place to stay The Henniker Motel is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful
place for whitewater paddling close to Mud Pond is Contoocook River; Mile/Away Campground is a nice campground nearby.
