Do stop by Mud Pond while you're in this part of New Hampshire. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Mud Pond. A swamp like Spruce Swamp close to Mud Pond has lots of exciting things to see; whitewater paddling is good on Stony Brook.

is a great place to get some rest, and a wonderful place to camp here at Mud Pond is Field'n Forest Recreation Area. Campers Beach is close to Mud Pond and is a charming beach to go to; there are fine spots to explore along the Parker
Trail. Near Mud Pond you find the Wapack Trail which is a good hiking trail, and you'll perhaps meet some folks from Manchester-Nashua here.
If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great planet it would
be. Mud Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Seven Maples Campground is a pleasant local campground; going for a hike on the Mitchell Hill Road is always a pleasant adventure. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to
do close to Mud Pond. A golf course near Mud Pond is Monadnock Country Club, and Mill Race Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. A stunning lake like Powder Mill Pond close to Mud Pond is a fine location to have a look at, and a wonderful vista of charming Gould Hill is available.
