Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Mud Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Mud Pond. Go for a hike on the Jericho Road Trail, and the skiing at Cannon Mountain is good. Don't forget to take a fine little trip to Black Brook. Lakes are glorious; Chandler       Pond is a lake that's next to Mud Pond. Everybody close by loves skiing at Loon Mountain. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Paddling on Gale River is so much fun, and a golf course close by is Sunset Hill Golf Course. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Mud Pond rocks! Don't leave Mud Pond without first going for a hike along the Beech Hill Trail, and camping is available at Littton/Lisbon KOA.                  This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the White Mountains for a good time. If you need a site to stay Best Western White Mountain Resort is a tremendous choice, and Wild Ammonoosuc River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Reel Brook Trail, and camping at Littleton-lisbon Koa Kampground is always a great experience. From a rainfall point of view Mud Pond is a reasonably common spot; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great area for folks who like lakes.
