Mud Pond is a lake worth visiting. Mud Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Mount Pemigewasset is picturesque and can be observed from Mud Pond, and camping at Mud Pond is great fun, Campers World Campground is a great local campground. Through the warm months highs here at Mud Pond get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows at Mud Pond through the winter

| | frequently dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Cascade Brook is so much fun, and after a long day outdoors Franconia Notch Motel is a perfect place to spend a night or two. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Mud Pond; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. Get covered with water paddling on Pemigewasset River, and hiking along the Cascade Brook Trail is glorious fun. That right | |

Cozy Cabins is a fine choice. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Don't miss out on a good swamp; Bog Eddy is right here at Mud Pond, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself
at Georgiana Falls. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the White Mountains. What would winter be without some skiing at Loon Mountain. Be careful coming to Mud Pond, you might not ever
want to go home again. You must definitely dedicate some time to The Basin while you're here at Mud Pond, and hey, Gotta ski right? Cannon Mountain is a good location to do that.
